Manual Handling

health-and-safety pic

Manual Handling is the movement of any load by pushing, pulling, lifting, putting down or carrying and it involves a high risk of injury especially to the lower back.

According to the Health & Safety Authority statistics,  33% of all work related absences reported to it last year were due to Manual Handling injuries.
